An Evening With Joe Sakic {Swift Current Documentary Photographer}

This summer I was asked to be the photographer at Joe Sakic's induction into the Swift Current Hockey Hall of Fame. It took place at the Swift Current Credit Union I-plex on August 6th. What a great experience! The food was excellent, there were a lot of people, lots of autographs and some great entertainment from the round table discussion at the end.  Congratulations Joe, I hope you enjoyed your night!

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Sneak Peek: Family Shoot {Clearwater Lake Family Photographer}

I ended a busy week of photo shoots with this family shoot. What a great way to end the week! It was pretty windy and cold on their side of the lake so we took a few quick pics then headed to the more sheltered main beach for some more family shots and some fun candid shots. Playground shots are just too fun!

 

 

Sneak Peek: Grandkids Shoot {Kyle Family Photographer}

I love taking pictures of kids, they are always so expressive! So when I was asked to take some grandchildren photos the other day I was really looking forward to it. The sun went behind a cloud just as we started shooting. The mosquitos were bad but the light was great! Here are some sneak peek shots from that evening.

 

 

 

Sneak Peek: Family Shoot {Clearwater Lake Family Photographer}

This week is a busy week for photo shoots. I can say I am really looking forward to it and I think it is off to a pretty good start with this multi-family shoot. We took their pictures at Clearwater Lake. It was really windy at their cabin so we took a few there and then headed to Main Beach, which was much calmer and warmer. It was a great place for family photos. The kids could play in between the more posed family shots and I had a great time taking candids in-between.

As we were walking back after the shoot this little guy jumped out and scared us from behind the bushes! He then gave me a golf cart ride home (with help from his grandma).

Sneak Peek: Wedding Shoot {Swift Current Wedding Photographer}

A couple of weekends ago I drove to Swift Current to be one of the photographers at this wedding. The bride asked me in the spring if I would capture the guests and the details of her big day. I was so excited and had a blast taking pictures of all the little details and the guests at the wedding. I took some at the church and then at their reception and dance. I loved their colours and they did an awesome job decorating the family shop for the dance! Thank You for letting me be part of your special day.

Camping

This weekend we went camping at Saskatchewan Landing with a group of friends. We were a little worried when everyone arrived because it was windy and pouring rain. We waited it out and that evening the sky cleared up and the rain stopped. The next couple days were beautiful!

Sask Landing Walleye Tournament {Kyle Documentary Photographer}

This past weekend was the annual Walleye Tournament at Sask Landing. It was very HOT all weekend. My brother and uncle fish together in this tournament and this year Rachelle Hodgins Photography was one of their sponsors! 
It was a great weekend. Lots of fishermen, lots of fish and a couple of the hottest days of summer!
