Week in Review: Alphabet Photo Orders

    Today is the last day of November which means Christmas is just around the corner! This week all of the Alphabet Photo orders will be sent in for printing.
    If you are interested in ordering an Alphabet Print for a Christmas gift, this week would be the best time to order to ensure it will make it to you on time for Christmas.

Information:

Sizes:
8x10        $30
11x14      $40
12x18      $50

- Prints can be ordered in black and white or sepia
- Prints are not framed
- A custom saying, quote or establishment date can be placed underneath your alphabet photos on your print if you would like
- If you have a lot of letters in your name or word I would suggest going with a bigger size so your alphabet photos won't be too small

Sneak Peek: Family Shoot {Kyle Family Photographer}

   It was great taking this family's photos! We took some at their cabin at the lake as well as near their farm. There was a little bit of snow but it was melting pretty fast! They had great smiles!
   Here are a few shots from their photo shoot!

I learned that if you start feeling a little sad, a bowl of Smarties will bring out a smile!

Sneak Peek: Maternity Shoot {Kyle Maternity Photographer}

  It was great to take some maternity photos with these two earlier this month. The snowed stayed away, so we were able to take some photos outside as well as in the baby's room!
  They recently welcomed a beautiful baby girl! Congratulations and enjoy your sneak peek!

I had to add this photo because it made me laugh! He wasn't too sure about getting his photo taken at the start!

Week in Review: Photos in the Snow!

   Now that the snow is settling in and winter is on it's way I thought I would share with you some information and tips for having your photo shoot during the snowy months!

 - The morning or late afternoon is great for light. It is also important to remember that the days are getting shorter now so these times will change from day to day.
- Clothing may be a more difficult thing to decide on in the winter. What is most important is that you will be warm and comfortable. Bringing extra coats, scarves or mitts is a good idea too, especially for young kids. Adding pops of colour to your outfits can really make you stand out in the snow!
- When planning your location consider places that may have some shelter just incase the wind is cold. Sheltered areas tend to collect more snow too!
- It is a good idea to have an indoor location in mind if it is really cold and we can't do all the photos outside.

   Winter photos are often overlooked but can be so beautiful and fun to shoot! Hope you are all enjoying the snow.

Sneak Peek: Family Shoot {Calgary Family Photographer}

  This day was perfect for a photo shoot. The sky was overcast and it was warm enough you didn't have to wear a coat. We took these photos by their house and by the lake! It was great to spend the weekend visiting family and to celebrate Grandma and Grandpa's anniversary!
   Here are few photos from their shoot!

Week in Review: Remember

   I am so thankful to live in a country with so many opportunities and the freedom to pursue them. I am also thankful that I grew up in a place where Remembrance Day was always acknowledged and respected.
   This weekend I am taking the time to remember why I can live free in such a great country and to live the life I want to live. Thank you to all those who have made this possible. I Remember.
