Sneak Peek: Cap and Gowns {Kyle Grad Photographer}

Yesterday was Cap and Gown picture day for the Kyle Grade 12's. It was also one of the first chances to really try out my new lights!
We had a little fun in taking some of the last shots with the grad girls. After all that posing what a better way to end a shoot!
Congrats Grads - enjoy your last month of high school!

Little Details

I love going outside for a walk with my camera. I never know what I might see along the way and doing this is what initially sparked my love of photography. I hadn't gone out and took photos "just because" for a loonngg time so it was great to just explore, experiment and enjoy being outside.

I love little details! Lately it seems I have been rushing around too much to just appreciate the little things that often go unseen and overlooked.

I hope you all take the time to just stop, take in the moment and enjoy the beautiful little details around you because "Life is Beautiful!"

End of May Long 2011

May Long - Great weather, great friends, great times. Today (monday) was the only cold, rainy day which, in my opinion,  is best spent cuddled up in a big chair with a cup of tea and a good book.
I hope everyone had a great weekend! I am now really looking forward to lake season. Cheers!

Sneak Peek: Class Casuals Shoot {Kyle Grad Photographer}

On Tuesday I went out and took class casuals for the grade 12 class. It was an overcast day but thankfully the rain held off while we were out there. Next week I will be taking their cap and gown photos. Here a few shots from that day. Click on the photo twice to make it bigger!

Branding {Kyle Documentary Photographer}

One of my favorite pics from Day's branding this past weekend. Cows and Calves heading back out to pasture.

Matador Branding {Kyle Documentary Photographer}

Branding season is officially in full swing. This past Saturday was Matador branding and we lucked out as it quit raining just long enough to do it outside. This years branding is possibly the last branding for the Matador Co-op Farm so in tribute to the years of good times, good neighbors and more than enough cuts and bruises here are a few of my favorite pics from Saturday.
